Recognizing Breast Cancer
National Breast Cancer Awareness Month is October.
During this month we provided pink ribbons to every female patient in recognition and support of those who have lost their lives to breast cancer, all of the survivors and to every woman who continues to fight the battle through early detection.
Breast cancer is one of the leading causes of death and it is estimated that about one in eight women has a chance of developing breast cancer in her lifetime. Through breast reconstruction our physicians have enabled thousands of patients to regain their self esteem.
